1. Using GPChurch
These terms describe the conditions for using GPChurch's website and church management services. GPChurch provides tools for records, announcements, conversations, attendance, giving, volunteers, and communications. Participating churches administer their own accounts and records. Use of the service is subject to these terms and applicable law.
Your church may set additional rules for membership, ministry participation, communications, and access. Creating an account or submitting a membership request does not automatically establish church membership or grant staff permissions.
2. Accounts and access
Provide accurate information and use only an account you are authorized to use. Keep passwords and recovery codes confidential, and tell staff promptly if your account may have been compromised. Do not share a staff login or use someone else's credentials.
Your church determines your access and household relationships. Use information for purposes consistent with your church responsibilities. Parents and guardians should coordinate a minor's account use with staff and provide any permissions required by law. Staff access and household permissions do not remove those responsibilities.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service respectfully and lawfully. Do not:
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or exploit another person, or post unlawful or abusive content.
- Upload material you lack permission to share, including another person's private information or photographs.
- Distribute malware, spam, or deceptive requests for money or credentials.
- Bypass permissions, access another church's records, interfere with the service, or extract sensitive records without authorization.
- Use church information for unauthorized solicitation, resale, or purposes unrelated to your assigned access.
Church staff may moderate conversations, remove inappropriate content, or restrict account access. GPChurch may restrict service access to address misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements.
4. Content and church records
You retain any rights you have in material you submit. You give GPChurch and your church permission to store, process, display, and deliver that material as needed to provide the service, including to the audience selected by the feature. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions.
Conversations are visible to signed-in church users and may be moderated. Do not use them for confidential counseling, emergency requests, or sensitive financial details. Messages to staff go to the church's configured inbox. GPChurch is not an emergency response service; use local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
Church administrators are responsible for authorized access, record accuracy, appropriate handling of children's information, and church retention practices. Verify important records before relying on them for reporting or decisions.
5. Giving and payment services
Online gifts are made to your selected church through its connected payment provider. GPChurch records transactions and does not collect and redistribute donations. Payment providers have their own agreements, privacy practices, fees, and processing times.
Review the church, fund, amount, frequency, and total before authorizing a gift. An optional contribution toward estimated processing fees increases your total gift when selected. Estimates may differ from actual charges. A pending payment is not confirmation of settlement, and returning from checkout alone does not establish that a gift completed.
Recurring gifts authorize repeated charges under the schedule shown at checkout. Use My Online Giving to review and stop a supported schedule, and confirm the resulting status. Stopping future gifts does not refund previous payments. Contact staff about failed or duplicate gifts, refunds, statement corrections, or cancellation problems. Refunds and tax treatment depend on the church's policies and applicable law; GPChurch does not guarantee tax deductibility.
6. Privacy and connected services
The Privacy Policy explains information handling and access. Respect others' privacy when viewing, exporting, or sharing church records. A link to an external site does not make GPChurch responsible for that site's content or practices.
Your church is responsible for authorizing its connected email and payment accounts. Those providers may impose additional conditions or interrupt their services independently of GPChurch.
7. Availability and responsibility
Features may change, and access may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, provider problems, or security work. GPChurch does not promise continuous availability or error-free records. Churches should keep suitable copies of records needed for accounting and operations.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. GPChurch is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized account sharing, inaccurate information supplied by users, or independent payment or email provider failures, except where applicable law requires otherwise. These terms do not exclude liability or waive rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.
8. Ending access and changes
You may stop using GPChurch and ask your church to disable your login. Your church may change or revoke permissions. Closing or disabling an account does not automatically delete church records, refund donations, or stop provider-managed recurring gifts. Review recurring giving separately before leaving the service.
Revised terms will be posted with an updated date. Additional notice or acceptance will be requested where required. Separate written agreements with a church or the operator may govern services covered by those agreements.
9. Questions or concerns
Use Contact Church Staff after signing in, or contact your church office for account, content, giving, or record concerns. Ask your church administrator to refer platform service questions to the GPChurch operator. Describe the issue and your church, and keep passwords and full payment information out of your message.
The User Guide explains current church website workflows.
